On Saturday we finally had our first proper outing: the Breitachklamm. It rained while we were driving there, but by the time we started walking the weather had turned perfect.

We parked at the upper end of the gorge, just before the Austrian border, then hiked down to the ticket booth before turning around and walking back up through the canyon.

We only got back at 17:00, so it ended up being a full day rather than a quick outing.

Yesterday we had found Massaman curry paste in the Rewe, so dinner was built around that and whatever was already in the house: chicken, potatoes, napa cabbage and round zucchini. Not especially traditional, but exactly right after the hike.
