We started Wednesday early with a visit to the Schwarzer Grat. The observation tower is at 1,118 metres and the clear morning gave us views across the Allgäu and towards the Alps.

From there Anton and I cycled back towards Kempten. We stopped at the Eschacher Weiher for a swim along the way.

Once we were home we had an afternoon nap. Later we drove to Füssen for döner, then went to the Schwansee for another swim.
