Accommodation: Guest House
Wolvekraal - R0 p.p

We woke up and wanted to snooze a bit, but then we heard some raindrops so we quickly jumped out and closed the tent. We managed another early start and left by 06:30. Our first stop was the Vanderkloof dam which Hugo wanted to see after reading Deon Meyer’s Koors.

From there we drove to Philipstown, De Aar (passed the massive solar arrays), Britstown, Victoria West and then back on the N1 to Beaufort West. All of these ‘back’ roads were well maintained and in good condition.

We ended the day at Wolvekraal where we surprised Caro’s parents. They thought we were still in Pretoria.

We checked into one of the guest houses on the farm. We stayed for two nights catching up on lost time and eating Karoo skaap tjoppies.
