We first visited Vietnam in June 2015. It was their first overseas travel after getting married in December 2014. They travelled from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi by train visiting Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue. From Hanoi they did an excursion to Halong Bay and to Sapa.
We finally returned to Vietnam in September of 2019 after visiting Thailand. We stayed for one month and mainly visited friends. We also did the amazing Ha Giang loop on a motorcycle.
