Our friend Jaco recently got a job in Stellenbosch after living on their farm for almost two years. Luckily he only has to be there for 3 days a week. Since we don’t have a car this new arrangement also worked out well for us. On Wednesday, after work, we drove to Hartebeesrivier (his farm) near Swellendam, and only came back early Monday morning.
We all still had to work on Thursday and Friday, but between the work sessions we had a lot of fun. Cycling (sort of), braaing, playing board games, building a tree house (platform), hiking and just chatting about life, the universe and everything else as usual.
