From Jaisalmer we took an early morning train to Jodhpur. We took the third class AC compartment which were relatively empty with only a few locals and about 7 other foreigners. We slept most of the way.
We arrived in Jodhpur at around 13:00 and took an OlaCab (local Indian version of Uber) to the old city. Cars can’t drive in the old city streets so we had to walk from the clock tower. We checked into the Pushp Guest House which came recommended by the Germans from Jaisalmer.
After a quick shower we walked to the undescribable giant fort on the hill right behind the old city. We took an audio tour again which was absolutely worth it and the best one yet.
The buildings and artifacts in the fort is simply amazing.
After spending about 2 hours at the fort we went to the nearby Jaswant Temple. Afterwards we ended our day by walking around the clock tower again and having a quick snack at the number one cafe on TripAdvisor.
