We first visited Vietnam in June 2015. It was our first overseas trip after getting married in December 2014. We travelled from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi by train, visiting Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue, and from Hanoi we made excursions to Halong Bay and Sapa.
We finally returned to Vietnam in September 2019 after visiting Thailand. We stayed for one month and mainly visited friends. We also did the amazing Ha Giang loop on a motorcycle.
