Malelane - R315 p.p

Large apartment with everything one might need.

We had an appointment with Malelane Toyota at 09:00, so left the campsite just before 08:00. We got to Malelane well before 09:00 and booked the Hilux in. We couldn’t believe the size and cleanliness of the Toyota Dealership. Apparently, they’re quite a big deal in the area.

Our Hilux was in need of a new CV boot as it has been leaking since Zambia and recently got quite bad with grease leaking all over the place. We sat at their coffee shop and worked on a website whose deadline was suddenly shifted to tonight.

Over lunch we sorted out some banking issues with Hugo that had to wait in line at Nedbank, Capitec Bank and FNB, we did not miss these mundane tasks necessary to ‘live’ in the ‘real’ world.

We found a place to stay in Malelane on AirBnB, but had to wait for the Hilux until 17:00 and R3200 later. We also managed to finish the website by 18:00 that evening having worked on it most of the day.

The apartment we rented was very nice and we enjoyed a good night’s rest after yesterday’s stormy night.
